It is all about presentation! Proper lighting will help sell your products. LED lights will give your store a brighter, cleaner look. Also, you do not want your lights heating up the store which is what traditional fluorescents bulbs do which makes your air conditioning work harder.
Whether you retrofit your current fixtures or install new LED fixtures you should not go below 4000K – 5000K. When you switch to LED your store’s appearance from the outside looking in will be a brighter, cleaner, and more secure looking store.
If you have products on shelves you should also consider shelf lighting as well. LED shelf lights eliminate any dark spots.
